Excited about puppetry but not sure where to start to whip your ideas into shape?
Come and explore in this intensive day of writing experiments for puppets and objects.
A day of playing with words and objects packed full with practical exercises to kickstart your creativity.
We will share inspirational puppet texts and performance, explore the ways story, words and puppets work together and develop your own writing pieces over the course of an inspiring, energising day.
You will finish feeling confident about the ways puppetry can bring your ideas to life, and with pages of new writing to take into next stage of your adventure.
Led by Beccy Smith, experienced puppetry theatre maker and previously Creative Writing tutor at Goldsmiths College and St Mary’s College, London.
This course is a condensed adventure into the longer term Writing for Puppetry 8-week course.
