Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 July 2015 / £95
An excellent and unique way into puppetry for artists, makers, reluctant performers, shy creatives and non-puppet people. (Experienced performers, actors and theatre makers are also welcome to come and explore puppetry from an artist’s perspective).
This course will provide a safe environment to try new ideas, take creative risks and open up your creative practice.
Students will make mini-worlds from the variety of art materials and tools provided and are encouraged to bring some favourite tiny things to work with too. You will be introduced to puppetry and devising techniques and processes to explore ideas and stories that spring from your creations, and you may present a short story or visual feast to share with your fellow students at the end of the course.
