We have three more exciting courses running this term.
The ever-popular SHADOW WORLDS (March 5th / 6th) is a weekend of open-ended play and discovery, exploring the magic of light and objects in motion.
The weekend of March 12/13th will be focusing on VOICING PUPPETS – working with your voice and text with puppets; playing with words and puppetry, and the many ways that they can work together. There will be lots of ideas and techniques for working with puppets in all kinds of performance contexts, from spectacle to storytelling.
Finally, starting March 14th and running over 8 weeks (6 Sundays excluding the Easter holidays) we will be delving into the principles and mysteries of WRITING FOR VISUAL THEATRE, telling stories, making plays for puppets and performers, working with imagery, materials, movement, and objects to make your writing truly theatrical.
These sessions are for creators, actors, performers, artists, writers and teachers … we hope to see you there!
