Happy new year!
We are starting our second term at Brighton Puppetry School with an accessible, inspiring crash course in producing your own work. And this one isn’t only for those making new work in puppetry: the day’s content will be tailored to supporting participants’ projects in the small scale which might include visual theatre, new plays, work for children, participation projects, interactive work and more.
We will cover Idea Development, Partnership Building, Fundraising, Finding Your Audience, Budgeting, Putting Together a Creative Team, Marketing, Problem Solving / Crisis Management, and all your questions. It’s going to be a busy day!
The session will be led by local producer Beccy Smith who produced the sell-out Bombing of the Grand Hotel in BrIghton and London this year and produces new work and national tours for local companies Broken Leg Theatre, Still Point and TouchedTheatre.
If you want to produce your own work in 2016 come and let us build your confidence and skill you up.
